One thing that I've always been indifferent about was hair care until recently.
When I was 16 I had coloured my hair but always kept it medium length and got it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Always. Then I remember going back to my natural black hair. I used a lot of styling products, hairsprays, volume sprays etc but my hair was still in relatively good condition so I didn't bother with treatment masques and leave ins.
Throughout the past 1.5 years I've grown my hair long, almost elbow length but because I kept colouring it, it became damaged and dry. I have very fine hair to begin with but it is now as dry as straw. I've cut off about 5cm 2 weeks ago and its definitely healthier looking already.
Recently I've delved into hair products that claimed to help with these problems.
Products I've found that helps:
Redken All Soft Shampoo & Conditioner (Current)
Aveda Color Conserve Shampoo (Currrent) I love this shampoo + their damage remedy and dry remedy line but Aveda is very very expensive. Their ingredients aren't necessarily more 'natural' but they use much 'better' ingredients. I know that the damage remedy conditioner has plant proteins that don't just coat the hair and build up over time plus it should be used for damaged hair or else it won't work as effectively. One of the best but sadly most expensive conditioners I've used. I used to get it for a fairly good price because of staff discounts. (I have worked at an Aveda salon before)
L'Oreal Everpure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque. (Current)
Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray
Juuce Pure Oil of Marrakesh This is mostly silicones and a tiny bit of morrocan oil but I find it necessary to use.
Redken Velvet Whip Thermal Softening Treatment
L'Oreal Overnight Hair Repair Treatment (Testing)
I usually use either shampoo, either the Redken conditioner or L'Oreal Masque and leave in for 3-5 mins, then I use Redken Thermal or Juuce Pure Oil. I wash my hair every 3 days or so because I don't need to wash it that often, some might find it gross but there is no discomfort or greasiness whatsoever.. (even after 3 days) (I'm on medications) I apply heat to style my hair in between washes, so I use the Tresemme Tamer and it leaves my hair softer.

LOTD / Smoky Blue/Green
I don't really see many wearable smoky green/blue eye make up for single eye-lidded people without being over dramatic (i.e almost bringing it all the way up to the brow bone) My eyelids have a very small crease, so I wouldn't call it a 'double lid'
Strangely, this is a look a rarely opt for, but I still think its a nice change from my neutral brown eye.
Anyway, I think this eye look can be versatile by intensifying or reducing the colours.
Products I used:
Eyes /
- Too Faced Shadow Insurance
- KATE Palette in GN-1
- Kiss Me Heroine Make Me Smooth Liquid Eyeliner
- Ebay eyelashes (natural criss-cross ones)

Review / Biotherm White D-Tox BB Cream
BB creams, in my opinion, are great if you have relatively normal skin type.
That being said.. my skin type is dry and acne prone. If I don't moisturise my skin properly my skin will suffer with slight flakiness (under makeup) and irritation.
I got a sample of the Biotherm White D-Tox Translu.Cell BB Cream SPF25.
Claims to give a 'natural skin effect' texture, making skin transparent under any light.
Most BB creams only come in 1 or 2 shades, I'm not aware if this comes in any other than this one shade which is very close to my skin. (Fair medium) (NC25)
This BB cream smells like sunscreen but applies like a sheer foundation. I like the consistency/texture, it is similar to standard foundation and much thinner than a lot of bb creams I've tried in the past like Missha, BRTC, Hanskin. Very blendable and natural.
This BB cream won't set because of its hydrating properties (not recommended to people with oily skin) so I set it with a translucent powder (TIP / try not to buff or sweep powder, instead, press and roll using a puff or standard face brush, results are much, much better) Finish is dewy.
<< 1/2 blended 1/2 swatched
Coverage / sheer - medium
Colour / fair medium
Staying powder / by itself rubs off easily, with powder longer lasting.
Pros /
SPF 25
Natural coverage
Dewy skin effect (brightening)
Dewy skin effect (brightening)
Covers minor redness
Cons /
Only for fairer skintones
Won't cover hyperpigmentations
Overall, I really like it, and I want to purchase it, I like that it has sufficient amount of sunscreen, great for summer...but since I just bought the DiorSkin Nude, I will hold it off for a while.
