LOTD / Smoky Blue/Green

I don't really see many wearable smoky green/blue eye make up for single eye-lidded people without being over dramatic (i.e almost bringing it all the way up to the brow bone) My eyelids have a very small crease, so I wouldn't call it a 'double lid'
Strangely, this is a look a rarely opt for, but I still think its a nice change from my neutral brown eye.

Anyway, I think this eye look can be versatile by intensifying or reducing the colours.

- KATE Palette in GN-1
- Kiss Me Heroine Make Me Smooth Liquid Eyeliner
- Ebay eyelashes (natural criss-cross ones)

Review / Biotherm White D-Tox BB Cream

BB creams, in my opinion, are great if you have relatively normal skin type.
That being said.. my skin type is dry and acne prone. If I don't moisturise my skin properly my skin will suffer with slight flakiness (under makeup) and irritation.

I got a sample of the Biotherm White D-Tox Translu.Cell BB Cream SPF25.

Claims to give a 'natural skin effect' texture, making skin transparent under any light.
Most BB creams only come in 1 or 2 shades, I'm not aware if this comes in any other than this one shade which is very close to my skin. (Fair medium) (NC25)

This BB cream smells like sunscreen but applies like a sheer foundation. I like the consistency/texture, it is similar to standard foundation and much thinner than a lot of bb creams I've tried in the past like Missha, BRTC, Hanskin. Very blendable and natural.

This BB cream won't set because of its hydrating properties (not recommended to people with oily skin) so I set it with a translucent powder (TIP / try not to buff or sweep powder, instead, press and roll using a puff or standard face brush, results are much, much better) Finish is dewy.

<< 1/2 blended 1/2 swatched

Coverage / sheer - medium
Colour / fair medium
Staying powder / by itself rubs off easily, with powder longer lasting.

Pros /
SPF 25
Natural coverage
Dewy skin effect (brightening)
Covers minor redness

Cons /
Only for fairer skintones
Won't cover hyperpigmentations

Overall, I really like it, and I want to purchase it, I like that it has sufficient amount of sunscreen, great for summer...but since I just bought the DiorSkin Nude, I will hold it off for a while.

Hey

(from my abandoned tumblr acc.)
Don’t you just love beauty blogs? ;)
This is going to be me writing about my other passion -beauty/fashion.
I already have several other blogs. I will be taking my own pictures of products and swatches when I can.
I will be tweaking this layout first and adding some additional info in the side columns.
